Co-founded by Justin Strauss and Ritika Puri, Storyhackers is a content studio, media brand, and education company hybrid. With geo-dispersed team of 24 consultants in the U.S., U.K., and APAC, We’re best known for writing engaging copy, making complex topics fun to read about, and helping our customers make functional, conversion-optimized content. Storyhackers help various companies to increase qualified leads, improve the efficiency of their sales funnels, and boost conversion rates.

Ritika Puri is a writer turned sociologist turned somewhat-data scientist turned marketer turned storyteller. She has taught workshops and mentored for Galvanize, Lean Startup Company, Hult International Business School, 500 Startups, and Femgineer. Prior to starting Storyhackers, Ritika built strategic partnerships and business intelligence frameworks for Investopedia.com, and she co-founded a preventative health clinic in New Delhi, India. Along with co-founder, creative partner, (and husband) Justin Strauss, she is passionate about building multi-million dollar profit streams from $0 while creating a business culture of kindness for her fellow humans.

Startup Grind Fremont holds monthly meetings for startups, entrepreneurs, and VCs to share experiences, learn from each other, and create a “culture of innovation.” The monthly chapter meetings include time for networking and a fireside chat with a local CEO.

Public Discussion of “Linkage Fees” – Fremont @ Development Services Center, Niles Conf. Room

Attend a meeting to talk about linkage fees on March 6.
The City of Fremont retained Keyser Marston Associates (KMA) to conduct a nexus study to determine whether an affordable housing impact fee on non-residential development is justifiable as a way to increase resources for affordable housing.

The City will be facilitating a meeting on March 6, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. to provide an overview of KMA’s nexus analysis including findings and recommendations. In addition, you will have an opportunity to provide the City and KMA with your feedback and comments.

‘Grantwriting 101’ at Hayward Nonprofit Alliance

Members of the Hayward Nonprofit Alliance will learn about the science and art of grantwriting at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 16 at the Hayward Area Historical Society Museum, 22380 Foothill Blvd.

Dana DeBeaumont of Capitol Advocacy Partners represents interests of the City of Hayward in Washington D.C., and also writes grants and will speak on ‘Grantwriting 101 for Small Nonprofits.’

She has more than 30 years of advocacy, media, and public relations experience. For the past 18 years she has successfully represented a range of issues before Congress and federal agencies. She specializes in helping nonprofits and municipal clients.
