Ritika Puri is a writer turned sociologist turned somewhat-data scientist turned marketer turned storyteller. She has taught workshops and mentored for Galvanize, Lean Startup Company, Hult International Business School, 500 Startups, and Femgineer. Prior to starting Storyhackers, Ritika built strategic partnerships and business intelligence frameworks for Investopedia.com, and she co-founded a preventative health clinic in New Delhi, India. Members of the Hayward Nonprofit Alliance will learn about the science and art of grantwriting at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 16 at the Hayward Area Historical Society Museum, 22380 Foothill Blvd.

Dana DeBeaumont of Capitol Advocacy Partners represents interests of the City of Hayward in Washington D.C., and also writes grants and will speak on ‘Grantwriting 101 for Small Nonprofits.’

She has more than 30 years of advocacy, media, and public relations experience. For the past 18 years she has successfully represented a range of issues before Congress and federal agencies. She specializes in helping nonprofits and municipal clients.
