STEM Institute Bridges to Employers,
Hayward’s Diverse Community
The Hayward Chamber of Commerce Latino Business Roundtable will hear a presentation on the value to Hayward employers of the Institute for STEM Education at California State University, East Bay.
Doug Rosales and Janiene Langford, from the STEM Institute will share how businesses can connect to the local talent pool through their program. The Institute supports the diverse population of students, community, and the region by teaching teachers, reaching students, and bridging to employers. Cal State East Bay is the most diverse campus in the continental United States and recognized by the federal government as a Hispanic Serving Institution.
The Latino Business Roundtable is open to all chamber members and their guests.
We got great feedback from our last event and are excited to announce our 3rd #LinkedInLocal San Jose! We’re trying a new venue this time around and are looking forward to seeing you all at the Silicon Valley Capital Club!
What’s special about a #LinkedInLocal Meetup?
#LinkedInLocal is a meetup concept with the purpose to meet the people behind the LinkedIn profiles. Many people connect with others on LinkedIn with the intention of meeting to explore the possibility of doing business in the future. But life often gets in the way and pretty soon that person becomes just another forgotten 1st level connection. No longer, with #LinkedInLocalSanJose.
